The presence of Surface makes this tablet as a new flagship product for Microsoft, which was previously known for its dominance in PC operating systems business and also game console hardware like the Xbox and Kinect. But, the most important thing is the presence of Surface to show to the world and Microsoft Windows 8 PC-making partners about how Windows should look and feel like on tablet.

At demo products, executives from Microsoft emphasized the importance of features and design challenges they have to go through in order to produce this tablet. As shown in the paper, pictures and videos shown by Microsoft, the tablet is very worthy to compete with iPad and of course this tablet would be a tough competitor for the Android tablet.

Unlike Windows Phone, which until now has not been able to become a tough player in the smartphone market, then the Windows 8 will be more popular as a tablet OS. One thing that we can not know is how reliable software on the tablet and whether users will love Metro UI-based Windows 8 like they love the design on another tablet.
