The one of the most anticipated phones this year, the Nokia 808 PureView is getting closer to its release date in India. Today Nokia announced new website with a countdown timer that shows time till the Nokia 808 PureView will be released in India. Based on countdown timer we can expect it to arrive on June 5.

India and Russia were first in the list to get the amazing Nokia 808 PureView and while Russia is till silent about the release date Nokia India has made it official.  Mark this date in your calendars as it is worth buying this camera smartphone if you like to take a lot of photos with your phone.

Customers in India will get the international version of the Nokia 808 PureView so the specs will remain unchanged and will as impressive as announced earlier this year. It features 4-inch nHD (640 x 360 pixels) AMOLED ClearBlack display with Corning Gorilla Glass protection.

The Nokia 808 PureView has 16 GB internal memory expendable up to 38 GB with an external microSD memory card. It also has Integrated GPS, A-GPS receivers, 1400 mAh battery and other mandatory features for today’s smartphones.

The main thing that makes the Nokia 808 PureView special is its 41 megapixel camera sensor with Nokia Pureview Pro imaging technology and Carl Zeiss optics. It is the best camera ever used for smartphone. The Nokia 808 Pure View is the first smartphone the can replace compact cameras.

Nokia 808 PureView release date in India

The Nokia 808 PureView will be available starting June 5 on most online and regular retails stores in India. India is huge so it could take some time till it reaches your local retailer but I think it won’t take more than few weeks.
